Metropolis Series introduces Formica Veneer combined with aluminum laminates and typical veneer materials.

Formica Veneer wood surfacing is real wood laminated to a phenolic core which provides the practicality of a high pressure laminate with the warmth of natural woodgrains. Formica Veneer combines the beauty of natural wood with exotic designs and more consistent quality and ease of use than other wood veneers, while demonstrating sensitivity to the environment. Formica Veneer is made from real wood veneer. Consequently, light color and pattern variation may occur. However, because it is made from engineered veneer, it provides more consistent pattern than conventional wood veneers.

Formica Veneer is available in matt finish (natural low-sheen surface) and satin with variety of stains.

Because it comes to us with stain and finish already applied, it cuts down on our carbon and environmental impact. It is Responsibly Harvested - the veneer wood surfacing is made from plantation-grown material. It is responsibly crafted - Formica Veneer is created using a process that begins with real wood, minimizes waste and yields nearly 100 percent of the raw wood. The resulting product offers all of the character, warmth and beauty of natural wood with the exceptional quality and cost efficiency of a phenolic-backed veneer. The veneering operation is ISO 14001 certified. It is environmentally sound - there are no toxic emissions in the creation of Formica Veneer. All by-products are converted to heat and fuel, as much as possible, or used to product other wood products. Peeling of the veneer provides maximum yield. There is little to no waste when using Formica Veneer.
